A PROTOTYPE DESIGN OF A DEDICATED SMART HOME ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

<em>With the continuous rise of electrical energy costs for heating, cooling, and ventilation increasing number energy-consuming home appliances, designing a cost-effective efficient residential electric management system has become crucial. This paper presents prototype simulated design Smart Home Energy Management System (SHEMS), dedicated to according user-preassigned comfort requirements cost criteria. All planted sensors appliances are controlled by one master microcontroller. The Proteus Software ISIS was used all simulation results. proposed application collects information from control required switching them ON or OFF based on specified algorithm. sensors' assigned values appliance status stored in main database. also allows be monitored remotely via Internet. Simulated results given two-room home</em>.
